A centralized location would not only be more efficient, but it would also be more secure. And our space constraints are not just with materials and tools. Our staffing needs are growing so we need more office space to accommodate a staffing level that is required to serve our growing base.

A dedicated space would increase our ability to educate and train volunteers, youth groups and even those clients that want to learn how to better maintain their home. Finally, our own facility will enable us to partner with local medical equipment professionals to address the growing need for durable and adaptive medical equipment

We believe that the desire of our community to assist our families, friends, and neighbors is exceptionally generous despite the difficulties our communities have faced. This desire demonstrates that we have a culture of caring.
NOW IS THE TIME
For over 17 years, Rebuilding Together Platte Valley East has helped disabled, fixed-income elderly, and folks with financial hardships maintain affordable, safe, and healthy homeownership at no cost to the homeowner. Through our efforts, hundreds of people have remained at home where they most want to live and age. During our time in Fremont, our annual budget has grown from $25,000 to over $600,000.
This growth has resulted in approximately $2 million in market value being placed back into our communities. As we look beyond this success, we have begun to reflect on what it takes to better serve our friends and neighbors in need. This introspection has brought us to the conclusion that we need a home of our own – our very own building. As a nonprofit, we are not that different in our operational requirements for success as a for-profit business. A place to call our own helps ensure our longevity by creating an environment that allows us to be more Strategic, Efficient, and Effective as we execute our mission.
